职位描述

*Support of the Design Studio from the sketch phase through the entire Design process including final surface release
*Working closely with the design team and other departments to manage upcoming issues and escalating unresolved issues to the next level
*Responsible for liaising with the Vehicle Integration Engineering team to communicate Design intent and for highlighting and communicating conflicts between Product engineering and Design and negotiating solutions to support Design maturation
*Ensuring packaging standards and legal requirements are implemented and adhered to
*Responsible for deploying hard points, criteria and technical input and supporting the Design team to evolve the Design theme based on them
*Responsible for validation of technical input prior to transfer to Design and Modelling teams
*Responsible for providing feasibility supporting the design, development and integration of components and systems within specified areas of the vehicle
*Responsible for creation of reports which assess various style themes against the master sections using the appropriate company process

职位要求

*Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical, electrical or automotive engineering
*At least 5 years of work experience in a studio or package engineering role, preferably with at least Catia V5 as well as cross functional design experience. 3DX experience would be advantageous
*For the exterior role: extensive knowledge of BIW, exterior trim manufacturing and materials; specific knowledge of exterior lighting design and engineering with a major lighting supplier is an advantage
*For the interior role: extensive knowledge of interior vehicle systems, IP, seats, doors etc., manufacturing and materials; experience with a major trim supplier is an advantage
*Extensive knowledge of relevant global legal regulations affecting exteriors (SAE & InterRegs)
*Substantial manufacturing knowledge and experience of production programs as well as concept development
*Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills, excellent organizational & prioritization skills and fluent English language skills
*Flexible, committed and motivated to work on more than one vehicle area and manage more than one vehicle system at a time
*Proactive, self-motivated, able to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced studio environment
*Willing to continuously learn and step outside one’s comfort zone, thriving on new, complex challenges and wanting to make a difference
