Department Summary
The University of North Texas Health at Fort Worth is excited to announce the formation of its College of Nursing. This new college will help address the shortage of nurses in Texas, which has the second-fewest nurses per capita in the U.S.
The Senior Student Success Coach in the College of Nursing (CON) reports to the Assistant Dean for Student Success and plays a leadership role in supporting nursing students’ academic, professional, and personal development from enrollment through graduation. The position collects and analyzes data for reports to the Assistant Dean for Student Success and the Program Track Coordinators. In addition to serving as a proactive mentor, advisor, and advocate for students, the Senior Student Success Coach coordinates, plans, and executes award/recognition ceremonies and student receptions every semester following timelines and guidance from the Provost’s SOP as applicable. The position develops, implements, and evaluates student success programing in collaboration with other student success coaches and academic leaders.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of related experience; or any equivalent combination of education and experience
