The engineering group at Stantec Plymouth, MN office works on various industrial processes, food and beverage, chemical, agricultural, and other manufacturing projects. From retrofit/upgrade projects to brownfield additions, to complete greenfield facility installations, we partner with clients through all phases of the project lifecycle to deliver high quality designs and outcomes.
The engineering group at Stantec downtown Minneapolis office works on variety projects such as water / wastewater treatment facilities, solid waste transfer stations, public works buildings and other municipal facilities and structures. Similar to the industrial work listed above, the projects are a combination of new greenfield projects as well as facility upgrades and expansions.
The structural team located in Minneapolis provides structural engineering and construction support for project types coming out of both engineering offices listed above, as well as other offices around the Midwest and the country.

As a Senior Structural Engineer and structural team leader at Stantec, you will utilize your technical skills in communications, problem solving, design and construction documentation, code analysis and engineering judgment in a fast-paced professional environment. To successfully perform and meet the responsibilities of the Senior Structural Engineer position, the following capabilities and credentials are considered to be essential:
Education and Experience
Typical office environment, working with computers and drawings for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to hazards including construction, weather, and industrial operations that may be experienced at industrial facilities and water and/or wastewater related facilities.
The expectation is the structural team lead will work from the Plymouth or Minneapolis office and generally will be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.
