The Senior Structural Professional Engineer is responsible for leading the structural design and analysis of a variety of building and infrastructure projects while collaborating closely with Parkhill’s integrated MEP/S team. This position plays a key role in delivering innovative, cost-effective, and constructible solutions that meet client expectations and advance the firm’s mission of building stronger communities.

Parkhill is one of the largest architectural and engineering firms in the Southwest with 14 offices located throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Oklahoma.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans, reports, and studies for review
• Direct technicians and EIT’s for production of engineering documents for routine projects accurately and efficiently
• Interface with Clients when appropriate alongside Project Managers
• Visit construction sites to observe progress and determine general conformance to engineering plans and specifications
• Research design criteria, regulations, and standards as they relate to projects and incorporate them into design documents

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architectural engineering, or related field
• Successful completion of the Professional Engineer exam and can provide a PE license number
• Ability to use Revit/BIM
• 7 years of structural building design experience
