Just imagine your future with us…
At Aurecon, we see the future through a very different lens. Do you?
Innovation, digital engineering and technical excellence are at the heart of everything we do. Are you excited about shaping the future of Australia’s built environment—delivering structures that support critical community outcomes across health, education, commercial high-rise and defence? We are.
Diversity is embedded in everything we do. We work together to create a culture built on respect, trust, and inclusiveness. Our differences fuel our creativity. We embrace flexible working and are always open to discussing your individual needs, so you can create an experience that works for you.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Buildings team in Perth.
In this role, you will play a key part in delivering complex building structures from concept through to detailed design and construction support. You’ll work across a varied portfolio including hospitals and health facilities, schools and education campuses, commercial high-rise developments, and defence facilities—providing practical, safe, compliant and buildable structural solutions.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll lead design packages, collaborate closely with architects and multidisciplinary engineers, coordinate with offshore delivery teams where required, and contribute to design reviews, technical leadership and mentoring. You’ll also engage directly with clients and stakeholders, helping shape outcomes and supporting proposals and repeat work through excellent client service.
Defence projects: Some roles may require the ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance; Australian citizenship may be required for certain projects.
We know today’s complex challenges can only be solved by bringing together diverse teams from across our business. You’ll have opportunities to apply your skills across Australia, New Zealand, and beyond—helping shape the next generation of community and critical infrastructure.
Aurecon’s strength has always been our people. It’s our people who build our shared purpose and bring ideas to life. It’s our people who imagine and co-create with our clients a better future for people and the planet.
You probably know many of our award-winning projects already. The new Allianz Stadium in Sydney? That was us. Tāmaki Regeneration in Auckland? Also us. And major health, education and defence programs across the region? Yes—us too.
When you join us, you’re not only joining a global design, engineering and advisory firm—you’re joining a community working together to solve some of the world’s most complex challenges.
Then please apply. Remember, it’s you—your thinking, your technical expertise and how you bring ideas to life—that matters. Your background, individuality and unique needs will be valued.
