Position: Sr. Structural Engineer

Contract Details:
This is a full-time position with competitive salary and benefits package. The successful candidate will have previous experience or approval from Abu Dhabi Sewerage Services Company (ADSSC), a government-owned entity responsible for managing the sewerage network in Abu Dhabi.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Structural Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be responsible for providing structural engineering expertise and technical support for the design and construction of sewerage network infrastructure projects for ADSSC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design and analysis of sewerage network infrastructure projects, including pumping stations, pipelines, and treatment plants.
- Develop and review technical specifications, calculations, and drawings in compliance with international codes and standards.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated and sustainable solutions for sewerage network projects.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and drafters.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates to project managers and clients.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural design and analysis for infrastructure projects, preferably in the sewerage/water sector.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is required.
- Strong knowledge of international codes and standards related to structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, and STAAD Pro.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working on projects in the Middle East is an asset.
