Technical Design & Analysis
Lead the structural analysis and design of bridges, viaducts, retaining structures, and other civil structures.
Perform detailed calculations for superstructures, substructures, foundations, seismic and wind loading, and load ratings.
Prepare and review technical design reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
Apply relevant design standards (e.g., AASHTO, Eurocode, DPWH, other local codes).
Conduct constructability and value engineering reviews to optimize design solutions.
Project Delivery & Coordination
Manage and deliver multiple bridge design tasks within scope, budget, and schedule.
Coordinate with geotechnical, roadway, drainage, utilities, and construction teams.
Support project managers in scope development, risk assessments, and project planning.
Participate in client meetings, technical discussions, and design reviews.
Quality Assurance & Compliance
Implement and enforce quality control procedures for design deliverables.
Ensure all designs meet safety requirements, regulatory approvals, and industry best practices.
Review and validate work completed by junior engineers and CAD experts.
Leadership & Mentoring
Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentorship to junior engineers and project staff.
Lead internal design workshops, technical training, and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
Support team development and participate in performance evaluations as required.
Key Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
Licensed/registered Civil Engineer
8+ years of experience in bridge or structural engineering design.
Strong proficiency in structural software (e.g., MIDAS, STAAD).
Solid understanding of geotechnical principles, materials engineering, and construction methods.
Excellent technical writing, communication, and coordination skills.
