Job Description

Rendel Ingérop Pty Ltd, a subsidiary of Rendel Ltd and part of the Ingérop Group, is a multidisciplinary design and engineering consultancy, providing client-focused engineering and technical solutions on major engineering construction projects worldwide in the infrastructure, energy and industry sectors. Our experience includes bridges, tunnels, ground engineering, highways, ports, industry, energy and rail.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Senior Structural Engineer to join our new office in Adelaide.

You will support the delivery of engineering solution on assignments in Australia and overseas, by undertaking structural design and analysis using design software across a broad range of structural types and using various international standards. Some of the day to day tasks will include:

• Assist in the management of the design process that may include other related design disciplines/teams
• Support the development and maintenance of a high level of technical capability to deliver the service offerings targeted
• Maintain strong relationships with other disciplines within the firm

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia
• Structural engineering experience across a range of major infrastructure projects
• Extensive knowledge of Australian Standards and other national and international industry standards, contracts, methodologies and procedures
• Ability to build, maintain and develop relationships with clients
• Ability to work under pressure to ensure deadlines are met, whilst maintaining a high quality of work
• Knowledge and experience in structural analysis/finite element software such as Midas
• Excellent Microsoft Office abilities (particularly Excel)
