We are looking for a Senior Strategy Project Manager to join GlobalConnect and help drive some of our most important strategic transformation initiatives across the business. In this role, you will work closely with senior leadership and executive stakeholders, including the CEO, while helping build a best-in-class in-house consulting and transformation capability.

To succeed in this role, you likely have:

• At least 5-7 years extensive experience leading complex transformation or strategic projects in larger organizations

• Strong experience managing senior stakeholders and navigating complex organizational environments

• Solid project governance and structured project management expertise

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to turn strategy into execution

• Experience working with recognized project management methodologies and frameworks

About the role and the team

You will become part of a strategic transformation environment focused on driving high-priority initiatives across GlobalConnect Group. The role is based in Copenhagen with a hybrid setup requiring presence in the Copenhagen Havneholmen office at least three days per week.

As our Senior Strategy Project Manager, you will become part of the strategy function that operates as an internal consultancy capability where team members are allocated to strategic business-critical projects across the organization. This creates broad exposure across the business and close collaboration with executive leadership, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

In this role, you will help ensure that strategic initiatives are executed with strong governance, clear structure, and measurable business impact.

What you’ll be working on

• Planning, scoping and leading large and complex strategy and transformation projects across the organization ensuring improved alignment and greater accomplishment of business objectives

• Driving project planning, execution, follow-up, risk management, and reporting

• Ensure strong communication and coordination across the business and IT

• Engaging, managing and aligning senior stakeholders across business functions and leadership levels

• Facilitating steering committees, workshops, and leadership discussions

• Shape, establish and maintain strong project governance and delivery frameworks focused on professionalizing the way we drive and execute projects internally

• Conducting strategic analysis and supporting executive decision-making

Who we are looking for

We believe you are a structured and driven senior project leader who enjoys navigating complexity and creating clarity in demanding environments. You are comfortable operating in high-visibility settings and know how to build trust and alignment across senior stakeholder across GlobalConnect Group.

You likely bring experience from strategy, transformation, consulting, or other business-critical project environments where governance, prioritization, and execution have been central parts of your role.

Experience with frameworks or certifications such as PRINCE2, ITIL, or similar is considered an advantage.
