of domain/function:

The mission of Devices and Platforms domain is to provide procurement excellence in Customer Equipment procurement including Smartphones, Home Gateways, Set-Top Boxes, SIM/eSIM, IoT Devices and related Accessories and Platforms, as well as all corresponding and relevant services.

Your responsibilities

As a Strategic Sourcer, you lead medium ‑complexity procurement projects at global and local level and manage relationships with selected medium ‑sized suppliers. You execute the global category strategy, define and deliver project strategies, and ensure cost optimization and target achievement while supporting countries throughout the full contract lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

· Work collaboratively with the stakeholders to analyze, monitor, and manage the demands for related projects within assigned spend category

· Provide cost analyses & summaries related to Suppliers Cash-Out necessary for stakeholders to build Business Cases/ Target Costings

· Contribution to overall strategy development by creating sourcing, commercial & planning strategies for key projects

· Conduct negotiations and leveraging data analytics to achieve outstanding results

· Managing country demand via the Demand Plan Tool

· Leading strategic procurement projects and global/local tenders with key stakeholders

· Driving cost optimization initiatives and realization plans

· Ensuring active contract control

Your profile

You hold a University degree or an MBA in Procurement, Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Technology or a qualification of the same level.

You also possess the following skills and experience:

· Professional experience in procurement of 5+ years minimum

· Experience in the worldwide telecommunications industry and/or IoT ecosystem

· Strong synthesis and analytical skills

· Ability to work autonomously and to prioritize tasks

· Excellent communication, social, and intercultural networking skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders

· Experience with managing single vendor negotiations with a partnering approach

· Marketing of performance

· Strategic mindset

· Strong negotiation skills

· Very good knowledge of contract law

· High ability to structure internal and external communication

· Capacity to work in a multi-cultural and fast-changing environment

· Passion for innovation with the capability to adapt to rapidly changing environment and requirements

· Willingness to travel

· Business developer mindset

· Fluency in French and English, German is a plus
