We are looking for a Sr Strategic Pricing Analyst. The Sr Strategic Pricing Analyst is responsible for developing pricing strategies that optimize revenue growth and competitive positioning. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring programs to market successfully and drive continuous improvement through strategic insights and analysis. The Sr Strategic Pricing Analyst will work closely with Deployment, Marketing, Product Development, Technology, Revenue Operations, and Finance to develop pricing strategies, manage program launch pricing, optimize overall performance & revenue, oversee the process to upload our approved pricing into our reservations system, and ensure pricing integrity and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, strong analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, ownership and accountability, have strong attention to detail, and be results-oriented.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & Recommend Pricing Strategies – Design and propose strategic pricing models for new cruise programs, balancing market demand, competitive positioning, and revenue objectives.

  • Lead Market & Competitive Analysis – Conduct market intelligence to assess industry trends, competitor pricing, and customer behavior, ensuring data-driven pricing recommendations.

  • Manage Program Launch Pricing – Oversee pricing for new product launches, ensuring smooth execution and alignment with broader business strategies

  • Optimize Performance & Revenue – Monitor pricing effectiveness post-launch, analyze key performance metrics, and identify opportunities to refine and enhance pricing strategies.

  • Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with teams across Marketing, Deployment, Product Development, and Technology to execute pricing strategies seamlessly; and Ensure Pricing Integrity & Compliance – Maintain pricing governance standards, ensuring SOX compliance and accuracy in all pricing decisions.

Knowledge & Skills:

Essential/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful pricing strategies that drive revenue growth and profitability.

  • Experience working independently and in a team environment

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, work across multiple teams, and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines, maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and carry a task forward from beginning to end with minimal assistance.

  • Excellent storytelling and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.

  • Microsoft Excel advanced experience.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint)

  • Proficiency with database applications (Power BI, Tableau)

  • Basic SQL preferred

  • Strong analytical skills with financial modeling, data analysis, and market research techniques

Essential Experience Required:

  • Minimum of four years’ experience or related experience in pricing, data analytics, revenue management, strategic planning, related fields within the travel, hospitality, or cruise industry.

  • Completion of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Travel: No or very little travel likely

Work Conditions:Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Physical Demands:

This position is classified as “in-office.” As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida Monday through Thursday each week. Employees may work from their homes on Fridays.
