PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

Effectively issue and store stock items ensuring uninterrupted flow of production by providing fast and courteous service to all customers; comply in all respects with all applicable Company Policies without qualification or evasion; maximize the receiving and effectiveness of SAP Materials Management system.

QUALIFICATION(S) AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Diploma/Certificate in Storekeeping /Warehouse Management
• 2-3 years’ experience as Stock Controller
• Proficient in SAP (Materials Management Issue/Receipt Materials and Services) is a distinct advantage.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and issue daily directives on duties to subordinates Process
• Daily prints the stock reservation list and consults with user for the execution of old reservations.
• Perform the goods receipt/Issue function in SAP
• Plan and coordinate weekly cycle counting of protective clothing, chemicals, spares and lubrications and all other important consumables are done on a sample basis biweekly.
• Assist in financial half year and year-end stock count.
• Responsible for enforcing good housekeeping, stacking and storing.
• Plan deliveries of stock items to/from town and to vessels, Factory and Admin Departments.
• Identify and drive slow moving stock report execution process.
• Keep record of all MSDS when receiving and issue of stock and adhere to HACCP standards at all times
• Set annual performance management agreements for all applicable subordinates and conduct interim performance reviews.
• Maintain the Company’s standards and ensure that policies and procedures are adhered to.
