Senior STIBO STEP Engineer / MDM Support Engineer

We are looking for a Senior STIBO STEP Engineer to join an Application Maintenance & Support (AMS) team responsible for maintaining and enhancing an enterprise Master Data Management (MDM) platform.
The successful candidate will provide hands-on technical support, implement enhancements and fixes, troubleshoot production issues, and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the STIBO STEP platform. The role also involves guiding junior and mid-level STIBO developers and support engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and enhance the STIBO STEP MDM platform.
Develop and implement fixes, enhancements, workflows, and business rules.
Perform incident triage, troubleshooting, and production support.
Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and resolve recurring issues.
Support data validation, reconciliation, and data quality activities.
Guide and mentor STIBO STEP developers and support engineers.
Act as the technical SME for the MDM platform.
Work with business and technical teams to diagnose complex master-data issues.
Support integrations between STIBO STEP and external systems.
Monitor and resolve data pipeline and integration failures.
Contribute to ITSM KPIs including SLA, MTTR, incident reduction, and escalation management.
Support release and change management activities.
Must-Have Technical Skills

6–8 years of relevant experience in MDM and application support.
Strong hands-on experience with STIBO STEP
STIBO STEP data modelling, including:
Entities
Hierarchies
Attributes
Experience configuring workflows, approval processes, and data governance flows
Strong knowledge of business rules and validation frameworks in STIBO STEP.
Experience with STEP UI and data maintenance processes.
Hands-on experience with product/article master data management
Experience with supplier and assortment data.
Understanding of data governance, data stewardship, and data quality.
Experience across the master-data lifecycle: create, update, enrich, validate, and publish
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and/or file-based integrations.
Understanding of integrations with SAP S/4HANA and other enterprise systems.
Experience working with AS400/core systems and/or similar legacy platforms.
Knowledge of SQL and data analysis.
Strong data validation and reconciliation skills.
Experience troubleshooting data inconsistencies and production issues.
Familiarity with ITSM tools and ticketing workflows.
