The Segment Strategy Manager is responsible for defining and driving the system solution portfolio strategy for Industrial and Building and Home Applications. Working closely with global Application and Technology Architects and regional Solution Marketing teams, this role identifies market opportunities, translates customer needs into solution concepts, develops investment business cases, monitors solution development, drives solution commercialization, and owns the execution of approved solution opportunities from concept through successful market adoption.
The role serves as the market-facing counterpart to the architecture teams, ensuring that solution investments are aligned with customer requirements, technology roadmaps, and business objectives. It acts as the focal point between regional Solution Marketing teams, Product Groups, Architecture teams, Engineering, and Digital Marketing throughout the complete solution lifecycle. The role is accountable for driving cross-functional execution, stakeholder alignment, and achievement of approved business objectives throughout the solution lifecycle.
