Your role…
As aSenior Staff Content Designer under the Product Design team, you’llshape the CNN experience across mobile, web, and CTV—connecting editorial excellence with product performance. With deepexpertisein both content strategy and content design,you’lldefine how users understand, navigate, andactacross CNN’s digital ecosystem.
Partnering directly with our growth and product marketing teams,you’lluse data, experimentation, and audience insights to create messaging and flows that not only inform and inspire—but also measurably drive acquisition, activation, retention, and conversion.
You’llalso help lead the charge in developing content standards, defining guidelines, and educating cross-functional partners on the impact of high-quality content design on growth and user experience.
Your accountabilities…
Be a keyleader and contributoronthe product design, growth, and product marketing teams, helping to create the next generation of CNN’s digital products with a strong focus on growth and user impact.
Develop messaging frameworks,value props,andcontent systemsthat drive comprehension, engagement, and conversion.
Translate complex requirements into clear, engaging, and strategically soundingcontentthat ladders up to CNN’s business and audience goals.
Partner closelywithacrossthe organizationto ensure messaging is effective, consistent, and aligned across the user journey.
Lead ideation, naming, and brainstorming initiatives—helping teams explore new opportunities rooted in userneedand growthobjectives
Create scalable copy patterns, guidelines, and systems that enable consistent, high-quality experiences across CNN’s platforms.
Champion the content design discipline by mentoring junior designers and increasing cross-functional understanding of best practices.
Own projects from concept through execution, managing your deliverables and collaborating smoothly across teams.
Qualifications & experience...
10+ years of experiencein theworldsofcontent design, product marketing, andcontent strategy
Strong strategic thinking and ability to independently make content decisions grounded in business goals and user needs
Proven ability to translate consumer insights, growth data, and experimentation results into actionable content strategies.
Expertisein crafting messaging that supports acquisition, onboarding, retention, and engagement.
Demonstrated successleading initiatives andcollaborating with design, product, engineering, marketing, and editorial partners.
Experience developing, socializing, andmaintainingcontent guidelines, systems, and frameworks.
Deep experience using Figma to create content.

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $154,000.00 - $286,000.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
