Job Description

We are seeking a passionate DevOps Leader who can take end-to-end ownership of delivery infrastructure, CI/CD platforms, automation frameworks, and cloud-native deployment solutions. This role will be instrumental in enabling scalable, reliable, and efficient development workflows while partnering closely with engineering and business stakeholders.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop, sustain and evangelise devOps methodology withing the organization for software and firmware development
• Take complete ownership of product delivery infrastructure development and operations
• Design optimised, reusable and scalable application deployment solution for micro services/ traditional applications.
• Automate Infrastructure provisioning and development processes.
• Building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure
• Understanding the needs of stakeholders and use them to define platform backlog
• Writing automation code. Also, Reviewing, Testing and examining code written by others
• Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes
• Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes and works as intended
• Planning out projects and being involved in project management decisions

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
• Container orchestration platform (Kubernetes/OpenShift etc), CI platform, e.g., Jenkins
• Good understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• Experience with Log Aggregation tools like ELK, etc.
• Understanding of at least one scripting language Python/bash/Perl
• Proficiency with modern development tools, like Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence etc.
• Exposure to micro services tools landscape, e.g., Prometheus/ Grafana, Tracing, service mesh etc.
• Experience with GitOps is a big plus - clearly understand developer requirements, differentiate between needs and wants.
• Willing and able to dive into new things and pick them up fast - Good team player as teams and users are spread across globe - Very good analytical skills required to evaluate complex situations
• Focus on exchange of complex technical information - Good reporting and presentation skills - Good understanding of internal interfaces
