Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Own reliability activities for package development projects and serve as a subject matter expert across key reliability disciplines.
  • Drive first-level reliability assessments with a strong understanding of test objectives, requirements, parameters, and international standards such as JEDEC, AEC, and IPC.
  • Plan and execute package integrity tests based on project requirements, leveraging methodologies such as Delta Analysis, FMEA, PFMEA, DFMEA, and 8D.
  • Perform and coordinate internal package analysis, utilizing failure analysis (FA) tools and techniques to evaluate stressed samples and generate comprehensive technical reports.
  • Support reliability assessments by providing technical recommendations and expert consultation to project teams.
  • Coordinate and execute second-level reliability evaluations to ensure product robustness and qualification readiness.
  • Apply Chip-Package-Board Interaction (CPBI) knowledge to ensure reliable package design and successful product qualification.
  • Identify potential reliability risks early and recommend mitigation actions to achieve first-pass qualification success.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Package Development, Quality, Failure Analysis, Manufacturing, and Product Engineering.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by enhancing reliability methodologies, test strategies, and qualification processes.

Your profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Microelectronics, Mechatronics, Semiconductor Technology) or Science (Chemistry, Physics, Materials Science), with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to technical challenges.
  • Ability to identify, interpret, and conclude failure mechanisms through data-driven analysis.
  • Solid understanding of semiconductor assembly, packaging, and interconnect technologies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven individual with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional and global teams.
