Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

In this role, you will identify and develop new processes for products and packages, driving innovation and continuous improvement to meet quality, manufacturability, and business objectives. You will establish and implement robust process controls to ensure high-quality, reliable, and reproducible manufacturing outcomes.

  • Perform or guide Process development activities ( Process parameters scouting, optimization, verification and Process Freeze) in Development projects to meet the project targets in term of timeline, quality, cost competitiveness and manufacturability
  • Responsible or support for technical handshake and knowledge transfer to Operation
  • Support prototype and development samples build
  • Generate and update relevant documents, (e.g. Process Specification, PFMEA, DFMEA, Master FMEA, OJTI, T32, PDR)
  • Provide inputs for updating of related documents and is responsible for their correct contents, (e.g. Process of Record, Assembly Design Rule, Process Roadmap, Failure catalogue, Control Plan, Maintenance checklist, Unit process roadmap, etc.) for development projects
  • Liaise with suppliers for continuous improvement and perform verification and qualification activities for new tooling, machines and materials in Development projects
  • Technical lead for task force and complex problem-solving team using Statistical and analytical tools, (e.g. SPC, APC, DOE, 8D, FMEA, DFMEA, etc.)
  • Identify and develop new Process technology ( new developed unit process block) and improve Process capability to meet new requirements from Business divisions
  • Support the definition of Process technology, material, machine and tooling
  • Provide technical guidance/buddy to other engineers and project team
  • Initiating, generating and drive (P) IP ideas based on reading and research
  • Lead technical critical topic for the DEV related projects and FOK attention within sites

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

You strive to leverage strong expertise in semiconductor assembly processes, material science, and statistical analysis to drive process excellence, manufacturing quality, and continuous improvement. You demonstrate hands-on t echnical capability, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills, utilizing data-driven approaches and engineering tools to develop robust and reliable manufacturing solutions.

  • Masters/Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or relevant course with a minimum 8 years ofworking experience in semiconductor manufacturing industry
  • Strong hands-on knowledge and skills in assembly area
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of material science and chemical engineering know how
  • Analytical equipment knowledge
  • Knowledge of statistical data analysis including design of experiment
  • Familiar with Microsoft office
