Job Description

Join us to design and develop next-generation UWB PHY/MAC firmware, drive RTOS-based solutions, and work on cutting-edge wireless technologies. If you're passionate about embedded systems, low-level firmware, RF technologies, and scalable software architecture, we'd love to hear from you.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Lead the architecture and high-level design of scalable and modular firmware for UWB Radio/PHY platforms.
  • Develop and optimize firmware for UWB PHY/MAC in compliance with IEEE 802.15.4 standards.
  • Design and implement analog front-end and RF chain control/sequencing.
  • Port, integrate, and optimize firmware on RTOS-based systems.
  • Drive firmware bring-up, debugging, and validation using RTL models, simulations, and silicon platforms.
  • Develop and maintain unit test frameworks, HAL example applications, and software validation environments.
  • Integrate firmware development with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and quality assurance.
  • Build and execute automated regression, integration, and qualification test suites to ensure product reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality embedded solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

  • 8+ years of experience in Embedded Software/Firmware Development.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in embedded system architecture, design, C programming, MATLAB, and object-oriented concepts.
  • Hands-on experience developing low-level device drivers (SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, Timers, GPIO) on ARM Cortex-M or similar platforms.
  • Solid experience with RTOS environments such as FreeRTOS, Zephyr, ThreadX, or equivalent, including task scheduling, synchronization mechanisms, and system integration.
  • Good understanding of UWB MAC/UCI or wireless technologies including BLE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LoRa.
  • Experience translating hardware specifications, register maps, timing diagrams, and state machines into robust firmware implementations.
  • Proficiency with embedded debugging tools such as JTAG/SWD, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
  • Knowledge of low-power embedded design, including clock management, power sequencing, and sleep/wake mechanisms.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
