Our award-winning client is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to join their team.As a Senior Staff Engineer, Rotating Equipment, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our facility. You will provide technical expertise, support maintenance and operations teams, and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to rotating equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Expertise:Serve as a subject matter expert on rotating equipment systems, providing guidance and support to the team.
• Provide advanced diagnostic support to identify and address equipment failures.
• Lead root cause failure analyses (RCFA) to prevent future equipment failures.
• Maintenance and Operations Support:Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure plant equipment operates optimally.
• Provide technical assistance for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Reliability Engineering:Implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies to optimize maintenance practices.
• Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement.
• Mentorship and Development:Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced staff.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and development.

Required Qualifications:

• Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Mechanical Engineering focus preferred.
• Professional Engineering License is a plus.
• Experience:
• 10-15 years of experience in a senior engineering capacity, working with rotating and mechanical equipment in an industrial setting.
• Oil and Gas experience required, with preference for applications.
• Extensive knowledge of gas turbines and compressors.

Skills:

• Knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Proficiency in RCFA tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in petrochemical, NGL, or cryogenic natural gas processing.
• Knowledge of compressor performance and vibration analysis.
