The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) is seeking an organized, professional, and results oriented individual to serve as Senior Staff Assistant to the Executive Deputy Director of the Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) Business Services Division. This position will perform a variety of sensitive and confidential staff functions. Responsibilities include assisting in the coordination and implementation of various operational programs, policies and procedures and performing administrative tasks pertaining to operational, budget, and staffing issues and reports. This position provides a great opportunity for someone who has a strong background in providing administrative support for large programs and is interested in supporting statewide employment services operations and systems. The ideal candidate for this position will be detail-oriented and self-motivated with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and have professional experience assisting upper management coordinate operation of a large program and/or several mid-sized programs.
