Our corporate office, located in Audubon, PA, is currently searching for a Senior Staff Accountant due to growth! Our goal is to provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to understand all aspects of the company and to develop them into an exceptional business professional and who happens to be an outstanding accountant. To achieve that goal, this position is based fully onsite.
What You Will Do:
- Handle accounting responsibilities to support month-end and year-end closes.
- Research, prepare, and enter journal entries for multiple operating entities and partnerships.
- Prepare account analysis for multiple operating entities and partnerships.
- Assist with financial statement preparation and analysis.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly state and local filings/reporting as needed.
- Analyze, prepare and/or review bank account and inter-company account reconciliations.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly required reporting preparation and operational analysis for divisions and affiliated companies.
- Monthly sales and use tax and annual business privilege tax filings as required.
- Monthly/annual vehicle registration/licensing responsibilities for new and existing truck and equipment fleet.
- Audit and review information required from divisions/affiliates both on-site and at corporate headquarters to ensure requirements are met in an accurate and timely manner.
- Specialty billing and reporting responsibilities for operating entities.
- Communicate with division and corporate personnel to identify, implement, and improve processes and internal controls.
- Track insurance and workers’ compensation costs.
- Provide assistance as needed with annual audits.
- Maintain files and records as needed.
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned.

QualificationsYou Have:
- Three (3) to five (5) of experience either in public or private accounting.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be organized and motivated to succeed with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Strong skills related to Microsoft Office software products, specifically excel.
You Might Have:
- Some manufacturing experience (a plus) or diverse industries experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics accounting software would be a plus.
