The Division:

inHANCE, a division ofHarrisComputerSystems(an operating group of Constellation Software Inc.),offers a tiered suite of Customer Information Systems (CIS) and Utility Billing (UB) software to fit various community sizes

With over 45 years of experience,inHANCEfocuses on providing mission-critical software specifically designed for small-to-mid-sized utility providers. Their solutions aim to streamline complex operational tasks like billing, customer management, and field service into user-friendly, cost-effective platforms

The Position:

We areseekinga motivated and experienced SeniorSQAAutomationAnalystto join our team. The hired individualhands-on experience andexpertisein manual and automation testing, to help ensure high quality andtimelydelivery of releases

The selected individual will work in the Contour Software KarachiLahoreIslamabadoffice, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the onshore R&D team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable,maintainableautomated test frameworks and test suites.

• Develop automated UI, API, and integration tests to ensure high product quality.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to ensure testability, observability, and quality throughout thedevelopmentlifecycle.

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid feedback.

• Advocate for best practices in quality assurance, automation strategy, and testing methodologies across teams.

• Identifygaps in test coverage and drive continuous improvement in testing processes and quality standards.

• Provide technical leadership in QA by defining standards, tools, and automation approaches.

• Train, mentor, and support team members in adopting automation frameworks and improving testing skills.

• Facilitate knowledge sharing through documentation, workshops, and peer reviews.

• Participate in test strategy planning and contribute to architectural and technical decisions.

• Perform exploratory and manual testing when necessary.

• Review automation code and provide constructive feedback on best practices.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years focused on automated testing.

• Strong experience designing, developing, andmaintainingautomated test frameworks from scratch.

• Proficiencyin at least one programming languagecommonlyused for automation (e.g., Java, C#, Python, TypeScript, or JavaScript).

• Hands-on experience with modern automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress,WebDriverIO, or similar.

• Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman,RestAssured, or equivalent frameworks.

• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), QA methodologies, and Agile/Scrum processes.

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

• Strong knowledge of test strategies, test planning, and risk-based testing approaches.

• Experience with version control systems such as Git.

• Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Azure DevOps).

• Ability to analyze logs, troubleshoot complex issues, and perform root cause analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally with developers, product managers, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

• Experience mentoring, coaching, or training other QA engineers or team members on automation tools, frameworks, and quality practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6, Gatling).

• Experience testing cloud-based applications (AWS, Azure, or GCP environments).

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks (e.g., Cucumber,SpecFlow).

• Experience with security or penetration testing concepts.

• Background inmicroservicesarchitecture and distributed systems.

• Prior experience leading QA initiatives,establishingstandards, or driving process improvements across teams.
