About Division:
NX, a product of Constellation HomeBuilder Systems, is a recently built enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system for modern home builders. Designed today for what homebuilders will require for the next 10+ years, NX is a production and accounting system which enables homebuilder to future-proof their businesses, scale their operations, integrate seamlessly, and expand business insight possibilities.
Constellation HomeBuilder Systems is a division of Perseus, an Operating Group of Constellation Software Inc., a leading provider of software and services to a select group of public and private sector markets.
About Position:
The successful Senior SQA Specialist –Sales and Designensures quality and timely software releases for Constellation’s latest ERP, and contributes to the ideas that increases volume of output without compromising quality.
The hired candidate will be located and work out of the Contour SoftwareKarachioffice, working as part of the resource-center team, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Working hours are until1pm Eastern North America time.
Responsibilities:
Performingcomprehensive functional, regression, technical and system testing to ensure product quality and prevent defects, covering both backend and UI components.
WritingSQL queries to validate data integrity and as part of ongoing test efforts.
Creating, maintaining, and updatingcomprehensive test plans covering functional, regression, and performance testing in Azure DevOps.
Overseeingand coordinatingperformance testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.
PerformingAPI testing using Postman to ensure functional correctnessand integration across systems.
Continuously refreshingand expandingthe understanding of how and why customers are using ourERP(use cases).
Demonstratingdeep caring about user experiences, implementations, whatourusers are trying to achieve, and ongoing operational success.
Doingwhatever it takes to achieve milestones, release dates, and sprint goals, with scalable, maintainable software that does not require rework later.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
EXCELLENT English verbal and written communication skills
Experience with writing and executing SQL queries is a must
Strong experience in testing of web, mobile, and backend applications.
A demonstrable ability to get the work done to commercial-grade levels the first time, according to QA best practices, and within deadlines.
Detail-oriented with strongly developed problem-solving skills
Proficient in defect tracking and test management tools (JIRA, TFS, DevOps)
Good understandingofautomation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent).
Experience with performance, load, and API testing is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and testing in Agile/Scrum environments is preferred.
Interpersonal skills and supports a high-morale environment with programmers, analysts, and SQA professionals across geographies.
Good understanding of the Homebuilding domain is an asset
Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics or JD Edwards accounting software is a plus.
Working hours:
40 hours per week with availability till 1PM Eastern Time
