Job title - Senior Specifier Account Manager

Department Europe Sales Team

Reports to Vice President Europe

Location -Milan

Establish MillerKnoll as the first-choice partner for the Specifier and Design community by ensuring consistent early and proactive engagement, delivering timely and informed responses and strengthening key relationships to drive strategic growth across all opportunities in Southern Europe (Spain, Italy, Balkans, Greece, Turkey, etc.).

Specific responsibilities

  • Work alongside manager to develop A&D strategy within the assigned regions for Herman Miller and Knoll Brands first
  • Leverage position within the A&D community to influence project success
  • Contribute towards sales funnel growth and activities supporting lead generation – including management of funnel activities on Salesforce.com
  • Ownership and management of top architectural practices in Southern Europe countries
  • Engage the Specifier and Design community in meaningful and productive dialogue about insights and products
  • Leverage specialist sales resources where relevant against specific opportunities – including collaboration across MillerKnoll brands where appropriate
  • Organise and deliver seminars in line with MillerKnoll’s Insight Group’s accredited programme list across the region
  • Organise and participate in regular Architecture and Design networking events
  • Organise and host regular showroom visits (London + Milan + Foligno + Paris)
  • Southern Europe countries travel expected 2 weeks per month minimum - extended across Europe where required

Job holder requirements

Master degree level of Education

Successful sales experience of at least 3 years with business development mindset

  • Proven demonstrable track record of working with Architecture and Design community
  • Milan downtown based
  • Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish
  • Must be able to communicate both verbally and in written form to a high standard
  • Patience with an organized and methodical mind
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Must be flexible to work out of hours when required
  • Must be numerated in the preparation of quotations
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Diplomatic
  • Ambitious and energetic
  • Valid EU working permit
