The Senior Specialist is a key member of our TSX Listings team, working alongside a Senior Listings Manager and a Senior Listings Advisor to assist our TSX-listed Vancouver clients with corporate transactions and reporting. The role requires excellent communication and organization skills, and provides many learning opportunities within Canada's premier senior stock exchange.

This role reports to: Managing Director, TSX Listings

This role is hybrid (2 - 3 days in the office/week) - based in Toronto, ON.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Maintain internal files and systems and ensure timely input of data in various databases

  • Draft and review correspondence, bulletins and other materials pertaining to ongoing transactions

  • Process electronic Personal Information Forms in accordance with applicable policies

  • Maintain the archive system

  • Provide administrative support to Senior Managers

  • Manage Exchange-Traded-Fund listings and attend Listing Ceremonies

  • Connect with listed issuers on their filing requirements and applicable TSX policies verbally and through written communication

  • Act as a back-up for other Senior Specialists during vacations and absences

Must Have(s):

  • University degree, or equivalent experience

  • Minimum 2 to 5 years experience with securities

  • Exposure to Capital Markets, securities industry

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • Sharp analytical abilities and proven execution skills

  • Demonstrated independent judgment and self-sufficiency

  • Proven client service experience

  • Proactive self-starter and collaborative team player

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software

  • Meticulous attention to detail and expert time management

Nice to Have(s):

  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course or familiarity with stock exchange listing policies and requirements

  • Background experience as a Paralegal, specific to Securities industry

Salary Range: 85,000/year - 95,000 CAD/ year
