We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Specialistto join our Corporate Treasuryteam. This role is located in Pune

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

• Execute timely monthly production processes and controls across Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) Actuals and (FTP) Forecasting deliverables using Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) vendor software.
• Partner with Technology team to track production system performance vs defined metrics / Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Own testing of upstream and downstream changes on both a regular and ad-hoc project basis (project example: migration of input transaction data from one system to another; monthly example: update of firmwide reference data to inform changes to any FTP related reference data).
• Developing solutions using Python, SQL, and data modeling to drive measurable outcomes. In close coordination with US based team, perform data analytics using SQL.
• Supporting the rollout of AI initiatives (e.g., prompt engineering, agent design, curated datasets)
• Cross function collaboration across Finance, Technology, and Risk to deliver scalable, compliant solutions that align with enterprise architecture and data governance
• Reducing operational risk through intelligent automation and process redesign.
• Reimagining and improving Treasury processes through automation, AI, and data-driven design—balancing innovation with risk awareness.
• Ensure all the job responsibilities are performed in compliance with BNY standard governance practices.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

• 4+ years of experience in data-driven roles (e.g., analytics, product, operations, or engineering), with hands-on use of Python and SQL for automation and analytics.
• 5+yrs experience in Corporate Treasury: Asset and Liability Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, Liquidity Management or Funds Transfer Pricing.
• Expert level knowledge of SQL preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance / economics or related field required, master’s degree/MBA preferred.
• Familiar with data modeling and AI concepts (prompting, agents, LLMs).
• Good to understand bank balance sheet and financial instruments, finance / management reporting systems, Net Interest Income / Expense calculations, and Funds Transfer Pricing assumptions and methodologies.
• Knowledge of Power BI, MAQ, Cubas and/or Bloomberg would be beneficial.
• Candidate must be a self-starter, willing to learn new content and tools/processes quickly to contribute as quickly as possible.
• Communication ability via video conferencing will be a key factor in final candidate decisions.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity through experimentation.
• A collaborative communicator who can influence across functions, translate technical ideas for business stakeholders, and drive alignment.
• Passionate about platform thinking, process transformation, and driving change.
• Backgrounds in finance, consulting, product, or platform strategy are welcome—but not required. We value curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to drive change in complex environments.
