Neurocrine is building a new and evolving Technology & Enablement (TEA) function and is seeking a Sr Specialist for Training.
This role supports the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-wide training programs that enable employees to effectively adopt and utilize emerging technology solutions, with an initial emphasis on AI-powered solutions, including Agentic AI and generative AI tools such as ChatGPT Enterprise. This role partners with the TEA team to support and execute the end-to-end learning strategy for TEA training initiatives and ensures scalable, role-based capability building within supported functions. This role will play a critical role in supporting the development of organizational capability in AI, embedding best practices, and ensuring our colleagues and customers benefit from confident, efficient, and responsible use of AI technologies.
Within this role, the Specialist can quickly build and experiment. They are encouraged to try new approaches, learn what resonates, and contribute to the evolution of development programs employees want to engage with. We are looking for someone who enjoys creating practical, inclusive learning, quickly iterating based on feedback, and balancing thoughtful structure with room to experiment.
The role partners closely with training leads from HR, Commercial Sales, Medical, and other groups with dedicated training leads.

Design and develop end-to-end training programs (curriculum, eLearning, videos, job aids, and live sessions) for AI and digital solutions
Deliver high-impact training sessions (in-person and virtual) tailored to diverse audiences and roles
Build role-based learning paths and contribute to scalable training frameworks
Identify appropriate external training partners and manage vendor relationships, as needed, to support training plans
Translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance for business users
Partner with SMEs, AI champions, IT, and other training groups to align and deliver training solutions with evolving capabilities
Contribute to the development and implementation of training standards, templates, and governance for consistency and quality
Develop and implement effective internal marketing campaigns to ensure employees are aware of training and resources and know how best to utilize them. Create and maintain microsites with relevant content
Partner with the TEA team to support evaluation of training effectiveness using metrics such as engagement, knowledge retention, and adoption
Continuously iterate content based on feedback, analytics, and changing business needs
Support change management efforts through execution of training activities aligned to technology rollouts
Support TEA activities such as gamification, functional deep dives, and office hours
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Training & Development, or related field and 4+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, training, or certifications (8+ years)
8+ years of experience in training, learning and development, enablement, or technology adoption roles
Demonstrated ability to design and deliver training content end-to-end (documents, videos, live sessions, feedback loops)
Hands-on experience with training tools such as Camtasia, Articulate Rise/Storyline, or equivalent
Current knowledge of best practices in learning; experience with blended learning approaches, virtual delivery, instructional technology, and learning platforms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting technology rollouts, from a training perspective, in Life Sciences, Biotech, or Pharma
Familiarity with regulated environments (GxP awareness)
Experience designing learning programs at scale for technical products, preferably AI
Passionate about AI literacy and empowering the workforce with AI
Experience with LMS platforms and training administration
Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks
Preferred Tools / Technologies
Camtasia, Articulate Rise/Storyline, or equivalent
Advanced Microsoft productivity applications: Outlook, Teams, PPT, Excel, Viva Engage, SharePoint
Generative AI working experience: ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar
Strong facilitation and presentation skills (in-person and virtual)
Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and effectively partner with stakeholders across levels
Excellent writing and content organization skills
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
Strong problem-solving abilities and a creative mindset
Experience leveraging generative AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude, Gemini, or similar

The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $103,300.00-$141,000.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 20% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
