Job Description

Step into a career with ASM, where cutting edge technology meets collaborative culture.

For over 55 years ASM has been ahead of what’s next, at the forefront of innovation and what’s technologically possible. With more than 4,500 ASMers representing 70 nationalities, our people and our advanced semiconductor devices are playing a crucial role in trends such as 5G, cloud computing, AI, and autonomous driving.  But we’re more than just a tech company. We value diversity, inclusion and sustainability as we strive to make a positive impact on the world. Our development programs help support your growth, shaping your future and pushing the boundaries of innovation to unleash potential.

We’re looking for a strategic, hands‑on Talent Acquisition professional to lead full‑cycle hiring across the U.S., partnering closely with business leaders to deliver high‑impact talent solutions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, global environment, brings creativity to sourcing, and is passionate about delivering exceptional candidate and stakeholder experiences.

If you’re ready to shape the future of hiring at one of the world’s most innovative semiconductor companies - quite literally layering the future - we’d love to talk.

What you’ll do

  • Own the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle across the U.S., from proactive sourcing through offer and pre‑boarding, partnering closely with hiring managers and People Team stakeholders.
  • Attract and hire diverse, high‑quality talent across all levels - from internships and fixed‑term contracts to senior and executive roles - with a strong focus on quality, speed, and candidate experience.
  • Partner with business leaders through regular intake and alignment meetings to translate business priorities into effective sourcing strategies.
  • Deliver a consistently high‑quality experience for both candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruitment journey.
  • Design and execute creative, out‑of‑the‑box sourcing strategies leveraging platforms, tools, and internal networks, with the goal of reducing agency reliance.
  • Build and maintain proactive talent pipelines to support short‑term hiring needs, long‑term growth, and succession planning.
  • Use data and analytics to guide hiring decisions, identify improvement opportunities, and continuously optimize recruitment outcomes.
  • Provide talent market insights, competitor intelligence, and best‑practice guidance to business leaders and People teams.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the business, ensuring hiring strategies support broader business objectives and long‑term success.
  • Stay closely connected to ASM’s industry landscape, products, and strategic priorities to tailor recruitment approaches accordingly.
  • Contribute to global TA initiatives and employer branding activities.
  • Leverage ASM’s investment in modern recruitment tools and technologies to work efficiently and at scale.

We could be a great match if you

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree and bring 10+ years of full‑cycle, in‑house talent acquisition experience, ideally within the semiconductor industry in the U.S.
  • Have a strong track record of directly sourcing and hiring across all levels, including senior and executive roles.
  • Are a confident stakeholder partner with excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Bring creativity and proactivity to building talent pipelines aligned to business priorities.
  • Are data‑driven and technology‑savvy, using insights to inform decisions and improve processes.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen within a technical or engineering‑driven environment.
  • Have experience contributing to global TA projects and employer branding initiatives.
  • Are willing to travel occasionally for recruiting events and business meetings.
  • Are comfortable working from the office four days per week.

Why join Talent Acquisition at ASM?

  • Be part of a supportive, high‑performing team that genuinely wants each other to succeed.
  • Hire exceptional talent into roles that will quite literally change how the world is built.
  • Operate as a strategic business partner — not an order‑taker.
  • Work in a team with a strong sense of humor and a culture that values impact, trust, and collaboration.

About ASM

At ASM, we’re shaping the future at the atomic level. We enable the next generation of microchips by empowering leading semiconductor manufacturers with advanced wafer processing equipment.

Through our mastery of thin-film deposition, we create the innovative tools and solutions that shape the materials at the heart of tomorrow’s technology – powering everything from AI and next-generation healthcare to cloud computing and smarter, more energy-efficient devices.

With over 4,600 people representing more than 60 nationalities across 15 locations worldwide, we’re united by one ambition: to stay ahead of what’s next. And with research centers in seven countries and nearly a quarter of our people and profits devoted to research and development, excellence is our baseline, not our finish line.

Our pioneering thin-film deposition technologies – like atomic layer deposition, epitaxy, silicon carbide, chemical vapor deposition and vertical furnaces – help our customers push the limits of performance, speed, and efficiency. Our strong patent portfolio, flat organization, and agile way of working enable fast collaboration, global mobility, and a competitive edge far beyond our scale.

Every day, we work to make integrated circuits smaller, faster, more energy-efficient, and more powerful. Together, we’re advancing technologies that unlock new potential and improve lives.
