Job Description

BILLA Central and Eastern Europe is part of the REWE Group that manages REWE's supermarket business in Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia and the Czech Republic with almost 900 stores and over 25,000 employees. As a member of our BILLA CEE team, you will make a significant contribution to the success of our international stores by advising the country organizations.

• You will support the buyer (m/f/x) in processing orders and ensuring the timely delivery of fruit and vegetables.
• You also will enjoy communicating with suppliers to confirm orders, delivery dates and resolve any issues that arise.
• Monitoring stock levels and informing the buyer (m/f/x) about stock levels in order to avoid shortages or excess stock is your responsibility.
• You are comfortable keeping accurate records of purchases, deliveries and stock levels.
• You act as a support to the buyer (m/f/x) in checking the quality of incoming products to ensure they meet the required standards.
• You enjoy coordinating with the logistics teams to ensure the smooth transportation and delivery of products.

Qualifications

• You will have at least three years’ experience in procurement, supply chain or a related field.
• You have strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI, as well as a good understanding of merchandise management systems and databases. In your day-to-day work, you interact in both German and English.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills are required to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• A strong attention to detail is required to ensure accuracy of order fulfillment and documentation.
• Analytical and creative problem-solving skills are critical to quickly resolve issues related to orders, shipments and inventory.
