The Senior Specialist – Sales & Marketing will act as a subject‑matter expert and commercial technical lead within assigned programmes and customer accounts. This role will combine customer engagement, market insight and robust programme execution to ensure product quality, on‑time delivery and customer satisfaction. The post holder will drive DFMEA and root cause analysis activities related to sales and product introduction, support cross‑functional teams with clear communication and decision making, and ensure alignment of commercial plans with manufacturing and quality requirements.
Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to define commercial requirements, ensure clarity of technical and quality expectations, and manage changes with transparent traceability.
Lead and facilitate cross‑functional review meetings, technical gates and customer workshops; communicate effectively to inspire confidence and secure commitments.
Drive DFMEA activities in collaboration with engineering and quality to identify, prioritise and mitigate product and process risks from a sales and launch perspective.
Lead investigation of customer quality concerns and production issues; perform structured root cause analysis and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions are implemented and tracked.
Own product quality assurance activities for assigned accounts, including oversight of validation plans, customer specifications and supplier quality expectations.
Plan and align commercial execution with project schedules and manufacturing readiness; ensure accountability for deliverables and milestones across functions.
Produce and present concise reports and commercial risk updates to leadership; escalate issues and recommend decisions when required to manage complexity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for product quality, delivery performance and customer experience; promote lessons learned across the organisation.
Coach and support colleagues in sales, marketing and cross‑functional teams to build capability in problem solving, communication and process ownership.
Champion safety leadership and a quality‑driven mindset in all customer and supplier interactions.
Proven ability to make decisions in complex environments and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve agreed outcomes.
Strong communicator able to engage and inspire others; skilled at presenting commercial and technical information clearly to diverse audiences.
Demonstrable experience in DFMEA, root cause analysis and product quality assurance within automotive or other safety‑critical industries.
Experience planning and aligning execution across sales, engineering, manufacturing and suppliers; ensures accountability and delivers results.
Good analytical skills with practical experience in structured problem solving and corrective action tracking.
Proficiency with MS Office; familiarity with PLM/ERP and CRM systems is an advantage.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, focus on outcomes and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing or a related discipline; relevant professional qualifications (e.g., Six Sigma, quality or sales certifications) are advantageous.
Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or commercial roles supporting product development or launch in automotive or safety‑critical industries; experience interfacing with engineering, quality and manufacturing is preferred.
