The Facilities Project Plan & Development team within Real Estate is seeking a Senior Specialist to provide project management support in the planning, development and execution of capital and O&M Facilities programs and projects in accordance with the FFS Master Plan. The role includes coordination with Facilities Management and customer stakeholders; scheduling, preparing project documentation, coordinating filing applications and obtaining required permits; assisting with the procurement of project-related work including working with Construction and Supply Chain to ensure timely processing of requisitions and contract awards.
The Senior Specialist will work closely with Sr. Planning Analysts to track cost and schedule across the FFS portfolio to ensure accurate and timely reporting; assisting to update forecasts; monitoring completion and resolution of any issues that may arise and to stay within approved budgets. In addition, the Senior Specialist will perform contract administrative functions including, but not limited to, maintaining capital project current working estimates, processing accruals, scheduling contractor work required from by the Capital Projects team and processing payments to contractors.
