L3Harris is seeking a highly skilled Senior Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis to join our Missile Production Finance team in Huntsville, Alabama. This role is critical to supporting financial performance management through accurate reporting, forecasting, and analytical insight.
The selected candidate will be responsible for forecasting sales, profit, orders, and cash, performing P&L analysis, supporting segment reporting deliverables, and ensuring data integrity across key financial systems. This position also supports financial reporting for multi-year production contracts. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions in a fast-paced environment.
We are looking for a proactive, self-motivated professional who works well in a team setting and communicates effectively with key stakeholders, including Program Management, Material Planning, and Operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities, and able to perform effectively with minimal day-to-day supervision. Success in this role requires efficiency, problem-solving ability, resourcefulness, and commitment to quality, along with the ability to grow as a trusted business partner.
In this role, the individual will apply finance and accounting expertise to support financial reporting for a major defense program. Responsibilities include using key performance metrics and management best practices to prepare reports on awards, sales, profit, and cash. The role may also support proposal teams by developing bases of estimate, providing actuals data, and assisting with fact-finding and negotiations as needed.
