Primary Duties & Responsibilities
PLANNING
- Using MRP (Oracle and/or DMS) system and spreadsheets to generate and maintain production schedules.
- Schedule Production, Prototype and Engineering builds
- Interface with Engineering, Quality to ensure rapid response to customer requirements.
- Have scheduled reviews with engineers/ supervisors/ line leads to discuss status and capacity issues.
- Monitor daily shipments and coordinate with assembly lines to ensure product is to finish goods in a timely manner and keep customer service updated as to status.
- Pull and issue materials to production in time to make use of resources and productivity.
- Maintain and manage work order properly.
- Review Exception Reports to work related team and take action reschedule and reschedule as necessary.
- Submit Purchase Requisitions in time, right quantity.
INVENTORY AND WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT
- Lead and supervise warehouse operations, ensuring effective stock control, timely replenishment and continuous improvement in warehouse performance.
- Monitor inventory accuracy by conducting regular stock reconciliation and cycle counts, ensuring timely and accurate inventory record updates.
- Oversee and foresee warehouse load, activities to utilize the efficiency of facilities for storing and distributing raw material and finished goods stock
- Smart warehouse: continuously improve process, study to apply a modernization warehouse to maximize the utilization, prevent the assets loss and cost saving over the years
- Update document and lead team to work in compliant with ISO and EHS requirement at daily work
PROCUREMENT
- Manage the purchasing function by co-ordinating, planning to ensure that purchased goods arrive on time; at the right specification, quality, and quantity; at good services and at the competitive prices.
- Prepare the commercial contract/purchase order by consulting with superior on terms and conditions of the contract to ensure that terms and conditions are in line with department and company objectives.
- Directly involve with critical issues involving suppliers to ensure achievement of target price/ cost and quality.
- Manage internal lead-time PR to PO, PR status to shorten and improve PR / PO lead-time
COST & VENDOR MANAGEMENT
- Source and qualify supplier for maintenance spare parts, machined tooling, factory supply and General affair and organize tender for construction and service project.
- Lead yearly cost savings project by negotiating price, discounts and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Optimize inbound shipments
- Co-operate with Process/Production Engineer, Quality Engineer qualify new material & new supplier.
- Monitor OTD supplier performance monthly and take corrective action when necessary.
- Promote business relationship with suppliers.
OTHERS
- Maintains a positive and cooperative attitude to build a teamwork environment.
- Cooperate mutually among related department in charges to support production activities
- Responsible for timely and consistent communication with department terms.
- Adapts readily to change in work caused by new requirements and/or situations.
- Maintain and manage documents, data in compliant with ISO requirements.
- Other tasks assigned by superior.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Management, Business Administration, or related fields
- Minimum 5+ years applicable experience in Planning, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
- Good knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (Oracle) and demand planning is preferred
