Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Act as the Power BI and BI Subject Matter Expert across Enterprise Solutions.
• Drive the evolution of enterprise BI capabilities using Power BI and modern data platforms.
• Collaborate with business leaders to define analytics strategies and roadmaps.
• Promote adoption of advanced analytics, AI, and self-service BI capabilities.
• Establish and enforce BI governance, standards, and best practices.

Solution Architecture & Delivery

• Design and deliver enterprise-grade Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.
• Define, build, and maintain semantic data models and reporting frameworks.
• Ensure performance optimization, scalability, reliability, and security of BI solutions.
• Conduct architecture reviews and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Balance business requirements with sustainable and scalable technical architecture.

Data Management & Quality

• Own and maintain enterprise Power BI datasets and semantic models.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, reconciliation, validation, and governance practices.
• Develop trusted and reliable reporting solutions across the organization.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to align reporting and data platforms.

Team & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to BI developers.
• Review development quality and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with business analysts, stakeholders, and IT teams to deliver value-driven reporting solutions.
• Drive a culture of quality, innovation, and zero-defect analytics delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills

• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Power BI (Desktop, Service, Dataflows; Microsoft Fabric experience preferred).
• Strong expertise in SQL programming and database development.
• Advanced knowledge of data modeling, including Star Schema and Dimensional Modeling.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise BI architectures.
• Strong understanding of analytical reporting frameworks and modern data platforms.

Leadership Skills

• Proven experience leading or mentoring small technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive BI adoption.
• Experience acting as a technical SME within enterprise environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, Azure, or Microsoft Fabric.
• Experience with additional programming languages and analytics technologies is an advantage.
• Understanding of organizational policies, ethics, and business culture.
