Job Responsibilities (listed in order of importance and/or time spent)

  • The Senior Specialist collaborates with senior leadership to reinforce and implement any corrective actions identified by leadership or our Pharma partners related to Key Performance Indicators (KPI) assigned to Coordinators. The Senior Specialist works closely with the Clinical Product Support Team to understand and support the initiatives assigned to the Pharma Support Services team and ensure the coordination and execution of special projects.
  • The Senior Specialist Coordinator promptly identifies individual and team skill deficits and escalates to their direct Senior leadership.
  • Communicates with team members and serves as an in-house resource to support all onboarding and additional ongoing training initiatives that support efficiently and effectively advancing referral processing.
  • The Senior Specialist has primary responsibility for the generation, quality review for accuracy, and submission of pharmaceutical manufacturer reporting associated with the product(s) under their purview.
  • Participates in business review presentations/contractually agreed upon meetings as directed by our clients.
  • Fulfills the job responsibilities of the Pharma Support Services Coordinator and drives delivery of related SOPs, workflow, and project plans for identified program(s).

Basic Education and/or Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a health insurance, specialty pharmacy, patient registration, or similar role with external facing responsibilities.

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience in specialized pharmacy therapies.
  • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and support numerous priorities at one time.
  • Must be detail-oriented and have a high degree of customer service focus.
  • Demonstrate history of strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to work independent, trouble shoot, problem solve, and collaborate with cross-functional team members and Senior leadership across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient computer skills that include the ability to effectively use the Microsoft Office Suite tools.

Travel Requirements: (if required)

  • Minimal. Less than 5%

Preferred Qualifications & Interests (PQIs)

  • Two years of specialty pharmacy, home infusions, home care, or health insurance experience.

Due to state pay transparency laws, the full range for the position is below:

Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Pay Range is $30.00-$50.00
