
Assist HSE Management in managing Business Units /Clusters and activities in a manner designed to responsibly minimize HSE risks to a level which is As Low As Reasonably Practical (ALARP) and demonstrates the commitment to safe operation toward achieving its target of zero harm. Ensure that AD Ports Group sites and waterways observe the highest possible standards of Occupational Health & Safety.
Core Responsibilities
• Participate in establishing HSE objectives, annual action plan, budget, Training plan, performance monitoring, incident and accident reporting, and other administrative activities related to HSE Department.
• Review / support the development of HSE plans, specific HSE procedures, guidelines in coordination with HSE across the clusters which are required to streamline and safeguarded business activities.
• Coordinate with Business Units/ Clusters to create and maintain the required documented HSE SOPs & records for their activities and functional areas.
• Conduct incident investigations to identify causes and contributing factors.
• Conduct & review risk assessments, analyze data, recommend corrective action plans and maintain HSE Projects.
• Monitor the effectiveness of implementing Risk Management, Management of Change, Contractor Management, Audit & Inspection and other HSE procedures which that impact the business and to fulfill the legal requirements.
• Develop and conduct HSE training sessions & inductions.
• Maintain the register of all applicable legislation and Codes of Practices and other relevant, international best practices.
• Participate in compliance evaluation process to assess the level of compliance maintained by all Business Units/ Clusters.
• Support in the preparation of the HSE contents of ExCom, Management Review, Steering Committee and other presentations as required.
