Responsible and accountable for 1 or more network monitoring tools in the environmentTechnical architect role in developing and refining overall monitoring strategy and architecture as well as their roadmapsTechnical Leadership in performing planning, deployment, and optimization of enterprise level network monitoring environmentA team player by collaborating with other network professionals from other network productteamto develop and implementnew ideasinto tangible solutionsOwnership in managing andmaintainingmultiple monitoring tools, ensuring they meet our operational needsProviding technical leadership for day-to-day operational management of Network monitoring tools: Responsible foraccurateinventory ofmonitoreddevices, making sure all monitoring parameters are adhering to corporate monitoring catalogues and accommodating exception requests wherever applicableProblem-solver by troubleshooting complex networkmonitoringproblems and providing remediation plans as well as permanent resolutionsAutomation Advocate in streamlining operations by automating repetitive tasks, increasing efficiency across the board.
WhatWe’reLooking For:
Monitoring Tools Expertise: Typically required more than 10 years of experience as a network monitoring engineer managing monitoring tools such asLogicMonitor,NetBrain,ThousandEyes,BigPanda, Dynatrace and/or various types of logging solutions (Amongst all name of tools mentioned, good years of experience withNetbrainproduct would be advantageous)
Networking Proficiency: Strong networking knowledge at the CCNP level (certification would beadvantageousbut not mandatory)
Project Experience: Proventrack recordof working on complex projects
Technology Savvy: Broad understanding of various networking technologies and their orchestration
Possess superior interpersonal and communication skills, writing clear and concise proposals and presentations and interfacing with peer, management, stakeholders, and executives
Ability to create clear and concise presentations for management,stakeholdersand executives
Ability to coordinate work tasks with others fortimelycompletion and to avoid potential setbacks
Ability to articulate complex and technical ideas accurately and clearly
Ability to adapt current work processes to meet emerging needs and the ability to evaluatenew ideasand proposed methods for practicality and ease of implementation
Service Management Insight: Solid understanding of service management principles and ITIL practices
Global Perspective: Experience working in an international environment
Qualification and Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited educational institution or equivalent corporate working experience
Familiarity with key components and best practices of Observability
Proficiencyin analytical tools like Excel, Dataiku, Spotfire andPowerBI
Basic scripting skills in Python and Ansible
Familiarity with Syslog, log collection, and analytics
Passionate about data and good data evangelist
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Network as a Service (NaaS)
