Job Description

At GE Vernova, we are accelerating the transition to more reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy. As part of this mission, the Senior Specialist – NCR Triage plays a critical role in enabling operational excellence across Gas Power Business Operations.

As a member of the Gas Power Business Operations Center of Excellence team, you will support the development, execution, and continuous improvement of the issue and case management process within the PowerNow 2.0 platform.

You will act as a central point of coordination for issue intake, validation, prioritization, routing, follow-up, and closure for reported Non-Conformances (NCRs), Concerns, and Improvement opportunities.

This role requires strong judgment, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to ensure issues are managed efficiently and in accordance with business requirements. You will work closely with regional, operational, and functional stakeholders to improve issue resolution flow, data quality, accountability, and cycle time.

What You'll Do (Roles & Responsibilities):

  • Serve as senior subject matter expert for case quality, triage execution, issue routing, and information capture standards within PowerNow 2.0.

  • Lead and/or support with the development, implementation, and sustainment of governance mechanisms for issue management, including standard work, business rules, escalation paths, and process controls as required.

  • Provide coaching, guidance, and best practice sharing to users and stakeholders involved in issue submission and case management.

  • Partner with regional, operational, quality, and functional stakeholders to strengthen process adherence, accountability, and resolution effectiveness.

  • Ensure issues are reviewed for completeness, accuracy, quality, and compliance with established reporting requirements and business rules.

  • Drive validation of submitted information and resolve missing, inconsistent, or unclear case details that could delay effective resolution.

  • Prioritize issues based on severity, business impact, operational risk, and established triage criteria.

  • Assign and route issues to the appropriate subject matter experts, functional owners, or resolution teams, and re-route or escalate as needed.

  • Re-route or reassign cases when initial ownership is misaligned or additional expertise is required.

  • Monitor case progression and drive timely follow-up, escalation, and closure in line with business expectations and service requirements.

What You'll Bring (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience

  • Significant experience in Quality Systems and Non-Conformance Management

  • Significant experience in power generation equipment installation, operation, service, technical support, quality, or business operations

  • Experience working with PowerNow, PLM, ERP systems, and issue/case management processes

  • Demonstrated experience in process governance, performance management, or continuous improvement in a cross-functional environment

    Solid understanding of Gas Power products, services, repairs, and business operations
