The Senior Contract Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ongoing data management of agreements throughout all phases. This position will develop processes and support effective records management, improve overall data integrity, and increase revenue through a comprehensive review and understanding of MGB licenses. Key responsibilities include understanding the structure of contracts, translating them into system records, developing tracking/reporting mechanisms for contract milestones and proactively monitoring paths to commercialization.
Essential Functions
• Provide guidance to staff on the agreement lifecycle from initial setup through closeout with thorough understanding of agreement types, necessary data collection and ensuring integrity of records.
• Identify and design continuous process improvement; lead implementation to inter-office operations and service to the MGB community.
• Support efforts to manage support tickets (assigned to team) in a timely and effective manner.
• Directly drive revenue through the effective tracking and monitoring of milestone and other financial achievements.
• Perform compliance audits and reviews of portfolio, skillfully deciphering and translating contract language to actionable items.
• Effectively ensure compliance with diligence reporting across all agreements.
• Manage key relationships and effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in development of key metrics for team. Report and track areas requiring analysis, tracking and trending.
• Lead development of a new forecasting framework and model for hospital budgets to better account for diverse agreement revenue streams.
• Escalation point to provide expert direction to team for posting challenging payments to the correct agreements.
• Manage interns and assist directing less-experienced team members.
• Identify agreements for external audit and manage audit process.
