Senior Specialist, Legal Counsel
The Role:
As a global leader in semiconductor and advanced materials process solutions, Entegris requires a Legal Specialist with solid legal expertise and extensive in‑house experience to support its fast‑paced and highly regulated business environment.
This role is a key member of the APAC Legal Team, with primary responsibility for legal matters in Taiwan and additional support across other APAC jurisdictions. The Legal Specialist will work closely with Legal colleagues across APAC and globally, partnering with internal business teams to deliver timely, practical, and business‑oriented legal support to various stakeholders.
In this role you will:
Efficiently draft, review, negotiate, and manage a broad range of commercial contracts and legal documents, including commercial agreements, intercompany contracts, internal legal policies, and other corporate documentation, with strong business judgment
Provide pragmatic and effective legal advice and dispute resolution solutions to business teams and other internal stakeholders, balancing legal requirements with commercial objectives
Handle corporate governance matters, including preparation of board of directors’ and shareholders’ meeting materials, corporate registrations, filings, and related compliance matters
Deliver internal legal and compliance training to employees, such as intellectual property protection, compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, and regulatory awareness
Partner with HR to investigate employee misconduct or policy violations, manage employee complaints, labor disputes, and labor contract‑related issues
Support and execute special legal projects, including the implementation of IP protection measures at manufacturing sites, legal entity integrations, corporate restructurings, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.
Drive continuous improvement, optimization, and digitalization (including AI enablement) of legal systems, workflows, and processes
Support internal administrative matters and operational needs of theAPAC Legal Team.
Traits we believe make a strong candidate:
Law degree from a reputable and wellrecognized university; must be licensed to practice law in Taiwan or the United States
At least 7 years of fulltime legal experience, including a minimum of 3 years of inhouse experience; experience in thesemiconductoror other technology industries is strongly preferred
Strong conversational fluency in both Chinese and English, with proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing
Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn, adopt, and leverage AI tools (including AI Agents) to enhance productivity and efficiency in legal work
Enjoys working in a multinational and crosscultural environment; highly organized, detailoriented, proactive, and comfortable managing legal processes and workflows
Mature, adaptable, creative, and solutionoriented mindset, with a strong sense of ownership and a passion for problemsolving and continuous learning
Excellent timemanagement skills; thrives in a fastpaced environment, with strong analytical capabilities, clear thinking, concise communication, and the ability to simplify complex issues into practical solutions

The timely, accurate, and business‑oriented delivery of legal support for Taiwan and assigned APAC matters, including the quality, clarity, and practicality of legal advice provided to business teams and stakeholders
The ability to independently manage complex commercial contracts, corporate matters, and cross‑functional legal issues with sound judgment, minimal escalation, and strong risk awareness
Effective collaboration with the Global and APAC Legal teams, HR, and other internal stakeholders, demonstrating accountability, trust, and seamless cross‑regional teamwork
Successful handling of corporate governance matters, internal investigations, labor‑related issues, and compliance initiatives in a manner that is legally sound, fair, and aligned with company values
Tangible improvements in legal workflows, systems, or processes, including the successful adoption and application of AI tools to enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability of legal operations
The effective execution of special legal projects, including IP protection initiatives at manufacturing sites, legal entity integrations, restructurings, and M&A‑related matters, delivered with strong project ownership and alignment with business objectives
The ability to proactively identify legal risks and opportunities early, translate complex legal issues into clear business guidance, and support informed decision‑making
Consistent professionalism, reliability, and ownership in managing assigned workstreams and Legal Department priorities
