The Opportunity

We’re looking for a skilled communicator and knowledge specialist to join our Knowledge Services team as a Senior Specialist Knowledge Services on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract (possibility for extension).

In this role, you'll play a key part in transforming complex policy, process, compliance and operational information into clear, practical and accessible knowledge that supports our frontline teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.

Working closely with subject matter experts across Claims, Learning Development, Technology, Risk and Legal, you'll take detailed source material and translate it into engaging, user-friendly content within our knowledge management platform. You'll help ensure knowledge is easy to find, understand and apply in the moment, while supporting the ongoing development, governance and continuous improvement of WorkCover’s knowledge management model.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued evolution of our knowledge management capability, shape how information is organised and consumed, and help create better outcomes for our people and customers.

About You

You are an experienced knowledge practitioner, with strong knowledge of personal injury claims, who can turn complex information into clear, practical guidance that people can quickly understand and apply.

You bring:

• Experience in knowledge management, content development, operational communications or a related discipline.
• Experience working in a regulated, insurance, claims or compliance-driven environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing and content design skills, with the ability to simplify complex policies, processes and legislative requirements into plain language.
• Experience working with a knowledge management platform such as LivePro, or a similar system, including organising and maintaining content for end users.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts to develop accurate, effective and user-focused content.
• An analytical mindset, with the ability to identify connections across multiple information sources and structure knowledge in a logical, intuitive way.
• Experience working in a regulated, insurance, claims or compliance-driven environment will be highly regarded.
