Applies technical knowledge to maintain and improve existing systems, conducts analysis, and provides recommendations to the team.

Scope: Independently delivers small components and features across app/infra boundaries.
Impact: Improves pipelines and automation; contributes to reliability/observability baselines.
Autonomy: Works from high-level designs; breaks down tasks; performs root cause analysis.
Leadership: Champions coding standards; shares knowledge through demos/docs.
Typical deliverables: Reusable IaC patterns, containerized services, monitoring dashboards/alerts.

Validates that infrastructure systems, applications, and software capabilities adhere to corporate policies and procedures, promptly identifying and escalating gaps for remediation. Maintain clear, up-to-date documentation covering design, build, deployment, and standard operating procedures, ensuring accuracy, version control, and traceability. Working under the guidance of senior engineers,performs routine compliance and audit checks, help implement and test configuration changes in non-production environments, and contribute to runbooks and checklists for common operational tasks.

Utilizes existing automation and AI tools to increase efficiency and productivity.Collaborates closely with Application Dev, Infa Engineering, and Business stakeholders to translate infrastructure and business requirements into scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions across planning, design, development, and testing phases.

Supports and implements critical infrastructure improvements—spanning environments, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and performance optimization—that increase reliability, resiliency, and operational efficiency for full‑stack applications.

Performs low complexity production support tasks.

Active learning engagement. Complete all required mandatory training / policy awareness curricula on time.

Design and deliver well-structured, testable, and efficient code while building and maintaining automated test suites to ensure quality at scale. Model solutions with flowcharts and technical layouts based off of provided requirements, and produce clear documentation that supports implementation and ongoing operations.Leverage CI/CD pipelines and observability to ensure reliability. Throughout the lifecycle, you apply security and privacy principles—such as secure coding, least privilege, and data protection—so solutions meet compliance and safeguard users and data.

Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems. Ensure software is updated with latest features. Participate in deployment process following all change controls. Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.

Collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional partners to deliver on prioritzed efforts. . Actively engage in local meetups and professional communities to continuously learn, share insights, and bring modern approaches back to the organization.

Experience with application development framework. Aptitude for learning and demonstrative problem solving skills. Understanding of Full Stack Development; Java, Python, Go. Understanding of basic technology infrastructure principles. Knowledge in application frameworks and containerization is desired.

Bachelor's degree in computer science engineering, information technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required

3-6 years of experience in software development or technology infrastructure required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus; should have thorough knowledge of the software development cycle, experienced in developing Front-End and Back-end. Job holder must be knowledgeable about cross-platform interoperability (multiple platforms i.e. NT, Intranet, etc.) , major tools in a toolkit for a specific platform and features of multiple toolkits. S/he must be experienced at resolving hardware, software, and communications malfunctions and understand the business impact of resolving complications.
