Designation: Senior Specialist- GSC Master Data Management

Base Location: Navi Mumbai

Reporting to: Assistant Manager - GSC Master Data Management

Role Responsibilities

• Create and maintain mater data for various stakeholders – Customers / Suppliers / Intercompany etc.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to define data requirements and standards
• Ensure Data Quality standards are met within region.
• Ensure data consistency and accuracy across multiple systems
• Experience with data governance frameworks and standards.
• Coordinate data integration activities between various systems and applications
• Work with project teams on data-related requirements.
• Proficiency in data quality tools and techniques.
• Coordinate for technical issues
• Provide innovative solutions for process improvements
• Coordinate and support senior management for management and reporting
• Sound knowledge of SLA, KPI and should be able to maintain/manage large data set
• Prepare and report data anomalies as per the SOP.

Must - Have Technical Skills and Experience

• Should have 5-8 years of working in MDM Process / Data Management Process.
• Experience with Master Data Domains (Customer, Vendor, Material or Hierarchies).
• Experience with data governance frameworks and standards.
• Should preferably be from Freight Forwarding / Supply Chain Logistics background.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion master data transactions or other data management solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity.
• Self-starter and self-motivated requiring minimal or no supervision
• Job requires to work in rotational shifts / Weekly offs as per business offices pattern5 days WFO
• Foster a culture of data excellence and innovation

Good to have skills

• Proven experience in managing data-driven processes across various functional areas.
• In-depth knowledge of external data trends and industry best practices.

• End-to-end management of master data, including creation, modification, and deactivation.
• Lead large-scale data cleanup initiatives with zero business disruption.
• Strengthen SOP controls with additional validation and business impact assessments.
• Resolve system integration issues between CRM, ERP, and other applications.
• Perform root-cause analysis for data anomalies and design permanent solutions.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve productivity.
• Support audit observations and design governance controls.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key metrics.
• Act as a single point of contact for complex MDM queries and escalations.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and ensure TAT adherence.

• Hands-on experience in master data lifecycle management is essential.
• Ability to mentor and lead a team, acting as a functional SME.
• Proven track record in large-scale data cleanup and migration.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Advanced automation skills using Power Automate or VBA Macros.
• Strong analytical skills for complex data interpretation.
• Experience in creating reports and dashboards using Power BI or OTBI.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts as per business needs.
