The Role:
Our site in Hillsboro,OR,is seeking a Senior Maintenance Support Specialist to join our team. This role supports a broad range of tasks and various responsibilities related to metrics and reporting, document control, parts management, and maintenance software. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager.
What You’ll Do:
Performs Power BI developer tasks to enable the Maintenance team to use data strategically to operate more efficiently.
Recommends, develops, and implements Facilities and Maintenance metrics reports in Power BI related to equipment downtime, percent on time PM completion, parts usage and cost, facilities health, and temperature and humidity trends.
Extracts data from Asset Essentials, the maintenance software system, and other production sources to auto populate Power BI reports.
Creates data models, develops dashboards, maintains data integrity, and designs solutions to make complex datasets easy to understand and act on.
Performs metrics analysis, summarizes key takeaways and results, and communicatesreportout.
Identifies opportunities and suggests improvements based on metrics analysis.
Performs administrative tasks related to Asset Essentials. This includes signing up new users, providing training, adding new assets and parts, creating auto reports and pass downs, adding or updating PMs, and resolving software issues.
Generates and updates Facilities and Maintenance documentation in Reliance while ensuring correct format and content. This includes preventative maintenance instructions, troubleshooting guidelines,parts-related processes, and environmental controls.
Conducts Management of Change (MOC) and Engineering Change Notification (ECN) documentation to support changes to equipment or procedures.
Coordinates with vendors to maintain Maintenance software and resolve equipment or parts-related questions.
Supports Maintenance parts and service procurement in back-up role to Maintenance Planner.
Interacts with SAP and Maintenance software.
Performs additionaltasks asassigned by the Maintenance Manager
What We Seek:
5+years experiencein a maintenance focused role and manufacturing environment or similar/applicable
Highschool Diploma required;Bachelor'sdegree preferred.
Excellent Power BI skillset and experience creating and maintaining Power BI reports.
Proven ability to analyze data and solve problems independently.
Strong analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work as part of a team and contribute independently to arapidchanging environment.
Skilled with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Able to produce trend charts and other graphical displays.
Flexibility in acceptance of assignments and schedules and ability to deal effectively with changes in priorities.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision and possess excellentfollow upskills.
Good problem solving and communication skills as well as a willingness to learn.
The ability to troubleshoot complex problems and strong ownership in providing root cause fixes.
A team player who can multitask and thrive in a very dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Knowledge and experiencewithMaintenance software systems would be a plus.
Familiarity with mechanical systems design and operation.
Knowledge related to troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
Experience with SQL would be a plus.
