Senior Specialist - eCommerce and Web Development

Job Scope

The Senior Specialist - E-Commerce & Web Development is responsible for coordinating e-commerce and website enhancement activities, supporting digital customer experience initiatives, and analyzing platform performance to contribute to online growth and operational effectiveness.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate web development and website enhancement activities in line with approved digital initiatives and business requirements;
• Maintain and optimize website content, including product listings, landing pages, merchandising, and promotional materials;
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, external agencies, developers, and technology vendors to support the implementation of e-commerce projects and enhancements;
• Support the continuous improvement of website functionality, usability, and overall digital customer experience;
• Coordinate the execution of product launches, online campaigns, email marketing activities, and other digital initiatives;
• Support e-commerce optimization efforts by monitoring conversion performance, customer journeys, and website engagement metrics;
• Coordinate CRM and customer engagement activities, including customer segmentation, targeted campaigns, and personalization initiatives;
• Monitor website, campaign, and customer behavior data and prepare recommendations to improve conversion, engagement, and customer satisfaction;
• Analyze digital performance using analytics and reporting tools and provide insights to support business decisions and website improvements;
• Ensure website quality, content accuracy, and consistency across all digital channels and devices;
• Collaborate with customer service, sales, marketing, and technology teams to support online sales activities and enhance the customer experience.

Position Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or any other related field

Experience

1. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
2. Strong experience with Shopify is a must. If he/she has Shopify Plus experience, even better, as we are operating on Shopify Plus.
3. Practical experience of Email marketing, segmentation, targeted campaigns, and working with CRM tools.
4. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
5. Working knowledge of Shopify analytics, Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and SEO fundamentals.
6. Previous Marketplace business experience like Amazon and Noon (Good to have, not must)
7. Regional Coverage: Morocco, UAE, Lebanon, Oman, Iraq (not necessarily must have regional experience)
