Senior Specialist, Direct Commodity Management

The Role: 

Entegris is growing and looking for a strong Commodity Manager, DirectCommodity Managementto join our Plastic Fabrication Team supporting Direct Procurement. If you are a motivated individual interested in solving complex problems within the semiconductor supply chain, this role may be a fit for you!

What You’ll Do: 

• Help shapecommodity strategiesand drive/ executesourcing decisions in the Plastic Fabrications or Packagingcategory;

• Lead cost saving efforts within the assignedcommodity;

• Enabling continuity of supply

• Become a strong ambassador for the sourcing organization, develop relationships with key Entegris stakeholders, and facilitate engagements that position organization for long termsuccess; 

• Develop strong relationships with suppliers’ technical teamstofacilitate a deep understanding of thetechnology roadmaps and capabilities to support Entegris productrequirements;

• Assess technology/business gaps in supplier performance and implement appropriate continuous improvementactivities; 

• Partner with Entegris product development teams to lead theoutsourcemanufacturing sourcing activities that enable businessgrowth; 

• Own, negotiate and manage commercial/technical supply chain to support Entegris businessneeds;  

• Negotiate contractswith critical supplierstoprovide support to APS and MS divisions.

• Support sourcing, cost saving and supplier development efforts across theBU’s

Requirements: 

• BS or MS in engineering, supply chain orrelated;

• Understand total costof ownershipmodels; 

• A leader with a strong technical background in part fabrication with the ability to effectively motivate teams to achieve collectivesuccess;  

• An astute capability to recognize the needs and motivations of individuals, and the capability to develop and nurture a wide array of internal and externalrelationships;  

• The capability to quickly understand complex engagements, identify creative business solutions, and drive successful interactions with outsidepartners; 

• A dedicated technology inclination for learning, collaborating, and continuousimprovement; 

• Demonstratedeffectivenegotiationskillsandcommunication capabilities, and the ability to persuade suppliers to efficiently support the long term, profitable growth ofEntegris; 

• Strong plastic fabrication fundamentals, with the ability to apply his/her knowledge to current and emerging semiconductor manufacturing needs.

• Professional proficiency in Englishand Korean

• Additional professional proficiency inJapaneseadvantageous
