Ensure activities comply with applicable insurance regulations, internal policies, customer-protection requirements and approved operating controls.
Maintain clear accountability between distribution activities and insurer-retained responsibilities, including underwriting, pricing, reserving and claims liability.
Coordinate delivery across Legal, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Finance, Operations, Marketing and Customer Care.
Identify and escalate regulatory, operational, commercial and customer risks, with authority to pause activities where material control gaps exist.
Prepare management reporting, business cases and decision papers, and recommend corrective actions where performance or delivery falls below expectations.
Act as the principal business owner for day-to-day decisions within the approved strategy, budget, delegated authority and governance framework.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Finance, Law or another relevant discipline.
Recognized insurance professional qualification at certificate level or above, such as Cert CII, Insurance Institute Licentiate, or an equivalent recognized qualification.
