In this role, you'll:
You will play a critical role supporting Transport for NSW by ensuring data platforms and pipelines operate smoothly, securely and at scale to support rail operations and business decision making.
You will work within the Data & Analytics team under Enterprise Applications that is responsible for providing day to day support of data solutions built in multiple data analytics platforms, mostly cloud based.
You will be responsible for smooth day to day operations by overseeing support requests, gain in depth knowledge of the solutions that are built and supported, understand multiple domains, be a part of design and delivery team to deliver ongoing enhancements, new data projects and PoC's to support multiple divisions within the organization.
In this position, you will also be required to work closely with multiple data teams within the organisation and be a SME in Data Platforms that we support.

About you
You bring extensive experience in Data Engineering, with strong expertise across Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure Data Factory (ADF), Serverless architectures, Synapse/Analytics services, and Databricks.
With 10+ years of hands on data experience, you have a well rounded understanding of the data landscape, spanning data engineering, data modelling, and data visualisation.
Your background includes exposure to leading visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Domo, enabling you to deliver impactful insights across complex environments.
