About the Role

We are seeking a technically engaged Product Manager to support a global data platform built on Snowflake and Reltio MDM. The role combines product ownership with hands-on data validation, working closely with data engineers to refine transformation logic and drive data quality outcomes. The position requires collaboration with US-based engineering and business teams during an IST evening shift.

Job Description

The role involves end-to-end product management for data domains including Lease, Sales, Finance, and Contacts. You will own roadmaps, requirements, vendor delivery, consumer adoption, and data product onboarding while ensuring data quality, governance, and ontology standards are met.

This is a hands-on position requiring regular interaction with data engineers to review SQL, validate pipeline outputs across bronze, silver, and gold layers, investigate data quality issues, and verify fixes end-to-end. You will also maintain data source coverage, facilitate technical working sessions, and translate between business requirements and technical constraints.

The role includes Agile delivery, backlog ownership, sprint planning, and governance activities using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Collibra, and SODA. Collaboration with US-based teams requires an 8:00 AM–1:00 PM US Central Time overlap, equivalent to approximately 7:30 PM–12:30 AM IST, with remaining hours flexible during the IST daytime.

Key Responsibilities

• Own product roadmaps and requirements across Lease, Sales, Finance, and Contacts data domains.
• Work closely with data engineers to validate SQL, transformation logic, and pipeline outputs.
• Analyze and resolve data quality issues through testing, validation, and root cause analysis.
• Track data sources, onboarding status, refresh frequencies, and quality gaps across owned domains.
• Lead working sessions with engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to drive technical decisions.
• Manage data product marketplace onboarding while ensuring DQ, data governance, and ontology standards.
• Own domain scorecards, lineage, and stewardship workflows using Collibra and SODA.
• Manage Agile delivery, sprint planning, backlogs, Jira/Confluence standards, and vendor dependencies.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have 6–10 years of Product Management experience, including at least 3 years working on data platform or MDM programs, with hands-on experience collaborating with data engineers. Strong data validation, SQL literacy, communication, and decision-making skills are essential, along with the ability to work with US-based teams during the required evening IST overlap.
